2. What this website does

A simple one-page website showcasing a rental object.
No user registration, no comments, no online booking.
Contact is possible via email (mailto link) or WhatsApp.

3. Personal data we process

a) When you visit the site (server logs)

Data categories: IP address, date/time, URL accessed, referrer URL, user agent (browser/device), HTTP status code.
Purpose: ensure technical delivery, security (e.g., abuse/misuse detection), and stability of the site.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in operating a secure, functional website).
Retention: these logs are kept by our hosting provider (GitHub) for security purposes, in line with GitHub’s privacy statement. We have no access to them.

b) When you email us or contact us via WhatsApp

Data categories: your email address or phone number, name (if provided), message content, metadata and attachments, and our replies.
Purpose: respond to your inquiry and any pre-contractual or contractual communication regarding the rental.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps/contract) and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in handling inquiries).
Retention: correspondence is kept for up to 12 months after the final reply, unless legal obligations require longer storage (e.g., accounting/record-keeping).

4. Cookies, tracking, and third-party content

This website does not use cookies.
We do not use analytics, marketing cookies, or tracking pixels.
We do not embed social media plugins, maps or videos.
Fonts and images are served from this site; no external fonts are loaded.
Links to Airbnb, Google Maps, Google Docs and WhatsApp only take you to those services when you click them. Their own privacy policies apply there.

5. Recipients and processors

Hosting provider: GitHub, Inc., USA (GitHub Pages). Serves the website and processes server logs.
Email service: Gmail (Google). Emails you send will be processed by that provider.
We only share personal data with these service providers where necessary to operate the site and handle communications.

6. International data transfers

GitHub and Google are located in the United States. Both are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on the basis of which the European Commission has found that personal data transferred to these companies is adequately protected (Art. 45 GDPR).
